The Stop the Violence Billboard Contest is an opportunity for Rochester City School District Students to take a proactive stand against violence; especially homicide. In its fifth year, over 2,000 students have submitted artwork that promotes nonviolence, crime reporting, and making healthy decisions. Selected artwork is placed on billboards in the city and in other locations like Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester City Schools and local businesses.
