Rise Up Rochester, Incorporated is pleased to announce the election of three new board members: Adine Demond, the Hon. Sabrina LaMar, and Zuleika Shepard, Esq.
Adine Demond is the owner of AMD Meeting Solutions, a full service meeting and conference planning company that specializes in site selection, registration management, contract and rate negotiations, food and beverage, and corporate and association meetings. Mrs. Demond has also worked as a claims specialist and served as the president of the Pennington-Moye VFW Post 9251 Auxiliary.
The Hon. Sabrina LaMar represents the 27th District in the Monroe County Legislature. She also serves as project coordinator for Project Community Engagement to Reduce Victimization (CERV) at RIT’s Center for Public Safety Initiatives. Legislator LaMar further chairs the education committee of the ROC Against Gun Violence Coalition.
Zuleika Shepard, Esq. is a deputy county attorney in the Monroe County Law Department. Attorney Shepard previously worked for the Legal Project of the Capital District Women’s Bar Association where she represented women in domestic violence cases.
